The TDPs of both the 8350k and the 7600k are the same at 91 watts - not really too high compared to some CPUs like the FX-9590 at 220 watts.

The Kraken X52 is a 240mm which is beaten by the X62, a 280mm radiator)

For comparison, here is the X62 (better than the X52) against the D15.(link) Although it is 2 degrees Celcius cooler than the D15, it's over double as loud.

And you're looking at a worse AIO than the X62.

As for looks - that's up to you. You could always replace the fans on both.

Uhh, any good liquid coolers? I don't want a big fan.

I don't know where you got the costs as being around the same - from the ones I looked at (10-20) most are double to triple the cost.

Yes, I'd agree that all of them are better; but most aren't close to the cost ( windale, H7,  and a couple others to get a bit closer)

Fine, here's a bunch of links to coolers better than the 212 EVO (at least 1 tier higher, some here are 2 up) that cost around the same / cheaper (between $18 and $45)

In general if a cooler shown here costs over $35 it's got 1 or 2 tiers above the 212 EVO in performance

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
