So my old build I did almost 2 years ago will be handed down to my little brother which will be a huge upgrade for him he will have my old i7-5820k, Asus x-99, EVGA GTX 980 TI build. I plan on building my new PC with in the next few months I have already decided I will use the Corsair 570x Case and do a RGB build. Depending on the price I plan on buying 1 thing at a time or few things every month until I have everything I need to build my new system. Last thing i'll probably buy is the GPU since the prices are a bit high. My question is what order should I buy them and when?

Ram and Graphics card prices are out of control right now. I'm waiting till those come down a bit/normalize before I start replacing parts.

Save it all up, then buy. In case they are defective, you can return it, also you won't be able to use it until you buy that last part so you should get the newest thing available when you've saved up all your money.

I also recommend keeping tabs on eBay. A lot of times you'll find someone just trying to get rid of their equipment for cheap and they sometimes don't even inflate their price because of the current market. Those types of sales tend to go crazy fast though.
