How do I use my mouse on second monitor while gaming?

The Pizza Thief

I'm not sure if it's possible but I have 2 monitors setup at the moment, when I'm gaming on my main and I have trading sites on the second I cannot just pause the game and drag my cursor onto the second display, I found that the easiest way to go to the other screen is by Alt + Tab while playing steam games, and then I can go to the other monitor but my game instantly minimizes which I don't want to happen. Any solutions to this ? Thanks !!

Have the game in windowed/windowed borderless, that should usually let you move your cursor from one screen to the other, without locking the mouse to the game.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

Playing in Windowed Border-less mode should work.

Did not think of that, I'm not 100% sure but I think I never play windowed because of my G-sync monitor, I think games have to be in fullscreen in order for G-Sync to work, don't quote me on that.

Check in the NVidia control panel to make sure that g-sync is configured to work with windowed apps as well as fullscreen.

One thing to note is that you can only have one active window at a time so after clicking on your trading client, you'll have to click on the game to get control of it again. This is a limitation of practically all window managers.

That was true when it was first launched, but it works in windowed mode now with modern drivers

I have 2 monitors and i play in Borderless in order to move my cursor to the other screen. If u want to use the V-sync u have to make Full Screen ..no other way to do this.Although just a regular Alt+Tab works in Full Screen but it will minimize the game or with some particular games it will switch them to Windowed mode.

I don't think gsync stops working because of that. In fact, I think that's one advantage gsync had over FreeSync for quite a while before FreeSync got the same functionality.
