CCTV Camera locked at recording 15fps 1080p

Hi,

Just installed a cctv setup for a mates workshop.

An notice under the choices of frame rate the max is 15 at 1080p resolution. Which I thought was odd at first until a quick google search.

Just wanting to know if there is anyway to by pass this 15 fps lock and change it to 30/24Fps for 1080p recording.

I'm currently using the swann SWDVK-845808 with 1080p full motion cameras.

Any help on this would be great.

Cheers

That recoder is locked at a max of 15fps when recording 1080p

Switch to 720p for 25fps. The camera might be able to do 1080p 25fps but this recorder cannot do that.

Maybe contact there customer support and ask what they recommend for video settings.

you don't need a higher fps really, as the 15fps gives you an idea on what's happening, and 25fps would do the same thing, so it doesn't massively matter, but if you really want to from the manual on their website (bottom of the pagehttp://www.swann.com/au/swdvk-845808# ) it says you do it in the homeveiw app. But you can only do 15fps for 1080p if you want 25fps you need to lower to 720p which to be honest is not a good a good idea as you can scale up the 1080p video more to see things if needed, more than a 720p video
