microsoft How do I delete my Microsoft Account and make a new one with the same email?

Hey everyone, I recently decided I would like to delete my Microsoft Account and start a fresh one, so I was wondering how to delete my current one and if it's possible to make a new one with the same email address.

Any replies would be appreciated.

Sign into your account, go to the Security tab, then Update Info, More Options, then at the bottom you can "close account"

yeah but are you able to create a new account with the same email as before or would that email be blocked out for the next 24 months (so that nobody is allowed to use it)??
