No, I don't have any visual studio programs installed, but I did recently install a game from steam that installed a new C++ library. Could it possibly be THAT file?

It's possible. Sometimes things get installed incorrectly. You could try reinstalling the game and see if that helps fix it.

Hello, I got a system error on startup saying "AUEPUC.exe system error- the code execution could not proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem"

I have no idea what program it's talking about, and i haven't run into any problems yet, but can someone give me insight into what could possibly be wrong?

I'm running on a custom built pc, my specs are below. Thank you in advance

Mobo: ASUS Prime B350M-A -> BIOS Version: American Megatrends 3402

CPU: Ryzen 5 1400

GPU: MSI Armor RX 580 8GB

PSU: EVGA 450 BT

RAM: 8GB DDR4 ADATA XPG 2400MHz

OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit -> Version: 10.0.16299 Build 16299

Do you have any visual studio programs installed on your PC? If not I wouldn't worry too much about the error coming up. Some people have suggested uninstalling any C++ libraries in the control panel and that might solve it.

Out of the solutions presented here, I'm guessing that you need to reinstall the VC 2015 redistribution package: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/vcruntime140dll-missing/2b061a41-e9f6-48f7-abee-28193cd3b60e?auth=1
