I was really considering Skyrim, but I'm not sure about the combat system. I'm afraid I'm not going to like it..

What are you afraid you won't like it's very open ended you can use bows , two handed weapons , one handed and shield , magic lots and lots of magic you can also switch between first person and a far away over the shoulder views .Thats all before the mods with them you can add 150 new spells tons of different armors and weapons

Hey guys,

While preparing for the winter holiday, I've decided to set aside €25,- to my paypal account for games.

I usually have some spare money there for unsuspected Steam sales and HumbleBundles.

What games would you recommend for this amount of money?

Note:

- I live in The Netherlands.

- I would like to have a little money left, for reasons stated above.

- This is my current Steam library: http://mysteamgauge.com/account?username=joppetie

- Please explain your opinion: should I get lots of cheap games, or should I buy one expensive game?

- For lower prices, check this website: http://gocdkeys.com/index.php (it's legit, trust me)

These are the games I already have on other platforms such as Origin or PS3:

Borderlands 2, Battlefield 3, Simcity, Hearthstone Beta, Spore, Burnout Paradise, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Mirror's Edge, Populous, Far Cry 3, Minecraft, CoD 4: Modern Warfare, CoD Modern Warfare 2, CoD Black Ops, CoD Black Ops 2, CoD Modern Warfare 3, Gran Turismo 5 and Assassin's Creed 2.

Personally, I was looking at Skyrim: Legendary Edition (€19.90) and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (€20.90).

Thanks in advance, guys!

Skyrim and terraria

I was about to buy Skyrim actually, but I wasn't sure it would be worth the money, considering there are so many great games for a much lower cost.

Terraria isn't really my kind of game.. Thanks for the advice, though!

Good choice dont use the mods in the steam workshop the ones on the nexus are much better http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/? they have there own moding program called nexus mod manager that is a lot better  . There is also another program called boss that will organize your mods so there are no conflicts http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6

Hey, I just bought the game, but in Steam it shows up as "The Elder ScrollsV: Skyrim" instead of the legendary edition. When I click on properties and then DLC, all the DLC does show up.

Is this normal?

If all the DLC does show up, then you should be set. I don't think it shows up in steam as legendary edition, but I don't have it so don't quote me on that one. Great choice by the way. Skyrim is limitless.
