Crashes usually occur when programs are running. Each crash is different but all need a restart to fix. Sometimes it's a black screen, sometimes black screen with working cursor, or programs will just cease working (e.g. task manager fails to show any running tasks).

I started noticing crashes after I tried installing AMD Overdrive, wherein the installation crashed my PC. Since then, I've been unable to properly uninstall AMD Overdrive.

Drivers should be OK. I make sure to always DDU before installing a new driver.

I've also noticed some graphical glitches (this started before I tried to install AMD Overdrive), but from benchmarking my GPU with Heaven there were no artefacts, crashes etc.

I also found 300+ malware threats on my PC. But since this has been removed, I still experience crashes.

Specs:

Athlon x4 860k

Asus A88XM-PLUS

HyperX Savage 2 x 4 GB 2400 MHz

GTX 1050 TI SC

Samsung 250 GB 850 EVO SSD

Corsair Builder Series CXM 430W Semi-modular 80 PLUS Bronze PSU

1680x1050 TV

Windows 10
