How to use PCIe risers

I see that there's a PCIe 1x to 16x converter, but there's also a SATA to molex connector. 

 

So... what am I supposed to connect/use?

Either connect another 6pin or SATA. People tend to use SATA as it goes unused for a mining rig and requires less 6 pins adapters and less strain on that rail.
