No internet after wake from sleep Win10

ks13219

Hello all:

Lately I have been noticing that when my PC awakens from sleep, the internet connection doesn't want to work. It lasts for at least a few minutes--way longer than it should, I'm not just being impatient--or until I cycle airplane mode.  I'm actually not sure if I have ever gotten it to resolve without toggling airplane mode, come to think of it.

This PC has an ethernet connection and does not have wifi.

Running Windows 10 for Education, current on updates

Hardware: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Xmk2gL

Router is an AC Airport Extreme, ethernet comes direct from the router.  Another wired PC on the network (which is south of a switch) has no issues, and the wifi is working fine.

I have not had any luck on google, so I'd appreciate any help you folks could offer.

Thanks,
Ken

Try a few commands in either Powershell or CMD, execute this command first "ipconfig /release" then "ipconfig /renew"

Of course execute both of these commands without the "quotations"
