Okay, so much like linus I want to build a Desk PC for my personal rig as much like luke I have issues with EVERY CASE EVER!!!

 

 

what do I need to get for the motherboard stand offs, can someone link to a product page or tell me a technical name for the incerted bit that the stand offs will go into.

Newegg sells kits of the standoffs and screws.

Depending on your material, you could simply drill a hole and epoxy a standoff in the hole as opposed to finding something to screw the standoff into, and then screwing the motherboard into that.

More information of your vision would help.

If you want it to be replaceable threaded inserts would be best for installation.
