FurMark Stressing 2nd GPU

I must be dumb or something but I can't get FurMark to stress my second GPU.

Don't use FurMark. It's not even a stability test, just a torture test for max temperatures. Use Unigine Heaven or 3DMark.

I understand that. I am doing a torture test for max temperatures. I need to stress my second GPU.

You will never hit the same temperatures in a game as you do with FurMark. It's an unrealistic load/stress that you will never experience...

That is the point. I tested my GPUs with FurMark before reapplying thermal paste and now I am measuring the change. This topic is not about FurMark or not. It's about solving a problem with FurMark.

I haven't updated my sig in a while (probably should). I have a 1060 and a 1050 Ti so 2 different GPUs, no SLI.

Ah, I see.

This particular motherboard does not split the 16 PCI-E lanes from the CPU to x8 + x8 when both PCI-E X16 slots are occupied.

Instead, all 16 PCI-E lanes from the CPU are dedicated *only* to the top slot, and the second PCI-E X16 slot uses the 4 PCI-E 3.0 lanes from the Z270 chipset.

 

Is the second GPU detected in Device Manager, and GPU-Z at all?

Is it detected in the nVidia driver software?

Is it showing up as a PhysX card by any chance?

 

Typically, just plugging in the monitor cable to the bottom card should just work...

Yes the card is detected and I am pulling a normal hash rate in ethminer with it.

Right-click on the Furmark icon and from Render OpenGL on select the GPU you want stress
