Case fans noise

Hello.

I recently bought a Zalman Z3 Plus case who comes with 4x120mm preinstalled fans.(1 in front of the case, 2 on top, 1 in the rear).

Only rear case fan has a 4-pin connector, rest have molex.

My question is, how can I connect those 3 connectors so they don t run at full speed?

Regards.

You need to get modded molex connector which acts like a resistor. Or you can cut 12V and 7/5V wires yourself. Another option is to get molex to 3pin adapter and use same methods as used with normal 3pin fans. So mobo, hardware controller or resistor.

Thank you for the response.

I'll search for molex-4pin adapter.

I was wondering if I can connect multiple fans to the same system fan port.

Yes, they're called fan splitters.

You can flip the pins on a molex connector for a 5v signal which should result in ~40% rpm or 7v for ~60%. http://www.silentpcreview.com/article6-page1.html

You don't gain anything by even trying to get molex to 4pin adapter. Molex doesn't carry even rpm, and you can plug 3pin connector to 4pin header.

There's isn't an adapter for what you're asking as far as I can tell and flipping the pins is really easy to do. There are molex fan controllers but you're better off just buying different fans.
