Cream soda on graphic card PCB

Ok I split cream side on my comp case and it leaked into the case and onto my nice gtx 680. Now the card is fine this happened like 4 months ago. Problem now is that there little drops of cream soda stuck on the PCB which bug me now, any idea how to remove them? Q tips and isopropyl alcohol?

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

yup your suggestion sounds good, just let it dry off before using it again.

 

Also why did you have liquid near your PC? :P

yup your suggestion sounds good, just let it dry off before using it again.

 

Also why did you have liquid near your PC? :P

The soda was on top of table and it split then the soda leaked through a crack in table which happened to be directly over top of my case vents. Interestingly I even found some soda under my cpu heatsink and even in the pci slots on the mobo.

You're lucky nothing shorted out.  Next time be sure to clean up completely before turning the PC back on.

 

But yeah, isopropyl alcohol should clean it right off.
