Hey guys & girls,

Found the problem, Looks like it was a matter of resitting my gpus with the HB Bridge and boom problem SOLVED

Hi Boys and Girls

So every time I try to play a game my system locks up and sound stutters and the only way out is to force shut down.

I have tried doing a fresh install of windows and was fine for a few days and now back to its old tricks.

Specs are

Intel 6800K

64 GB Ram

2 X 1080 Founders cards with HB Bridge

Temps are fine so now I need peoples help please

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Every game? Every time? BSOD? Event Viewer?

If it does it constantly when you put strain on the GPU's, and you already reinstalled the OS, there could be an issue with:

GPU

PSU

MOBO

Maybe other things. Did you try each GPU on it's own in turn to see if the problem resolves? You need to trial and error it all.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

the fact that it got reinstalled and worked for a short while then started the same problems again, leads me to think its something to do with hardware, probably storage or ram?

Does it have any issues doing anything else?

Maybe try some intense gpu testing software

Overnight ram testing

is it SSD or HDD?

I'm searching your error code and all I keep getting is sites trying to sell their propriety software fix to you which is likely full of bloatwear so don't touch any of that.

That's always disappointing to see.

Anyways,

that error is likely due to corrupt system files or a corrupt registry or it's just a generic improper shutdown error.

Seeing as you've reinstalled windows and checked your hard drives,

I'm guessing that it's the latter.

Do us a favor.

Open up reliability history by typing it after hitting the windows key.

See what's going on when those crashes occur.

Report back to us.
