You'd want a much more powerful CPU for CFR. My 1700X seems to do alright with ridiculous OBS settings. When I had an i7 4770, I generally avoided using X264. Your CPU is worse than my old i7, so use the lightest settings in OBS that you can.

Can you screenshot your important settings? Can you also try using NVENC or Quick Sync? Quick Sync requires some set up but it's awesome if you can get it working.

Anyone know how to make OBS to record at constant frame rate? I record footage that is 800 by 600 resolution and I set it so that it comes out as 1920 by 1080. But the sound is few seconds slow and I was not able to move it in hitfilm program. Does anyone know fix to this?

Someone on Google says to use convert thing(break it) and it does not work...

Why? It's just a larger file with the same quality.

There's probably a setting to delay the sound by a few seconds. Go dig around, or google it.

And about constant frame rate:

Can your computer handle it? -- you should probably drop the settings down a bit.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
