Ubuntu VPS folder sync

Hi, so I have rented a VPS, and I need one folder synced up to somewhere(probably to something like Dropbox, Skydrive. How can I do it?

Thanks, yes that should work. I never used Dropbox, how does it sync? I need it to take files from my VPS to cloud. Or does it make files in local machine the same as in the cloud? Or does it work both ways? Sorry, I'm a total noob on this....

So what Dropbox does is that it creates a folder on your PC and on the VPS or so on. That folder you can copy any files to it and it will sync up to Dropbox servers and then when you log in on your PC or what ever device you want.it will download all the files to that device, Make any sense ?

I wouldnt trust Dropbox.

I suppose you could use Rsync but the chances of the VPS provider seeing the stuff is high any way so what is the difference?

Thanks everyone for your answers, I found out that I didn't actually need to sync it often, single backup works pretty much the same.
