best light gaming laptop?

Acrain7

Hello, my old laptop has officially become deceased and needs to be replaced, and im looking for a new laptop to replace it.

BUDGET:

2,000$ (give or take, lower is better!)

CRITERIA:

i like rgb keyboards... im sorry :P

needs to be light-ish, i dont need another brick! (my old laptop was a 2015 alienware 17, and weighed around 3.5 billion pounds :P)

would love it to be able to run vr , but anything above a 980m GPU is great for me!

thanks for reading and suggesting!

-GP

I agree with this, any of these laptops would be good choices.

ive actually been looking at the gigabyte aero 15 on amazon, have any of you ever used one, and if so would you recommend one?

also how hard would it be to put a 1TB hdd in there, and is that even possible?

Ask those who purchased the laptop from Amazon, and If it's pants the buyers will says so in their Amazon reviews :)

I've seen a few for and a few against. Mostly it was to do with quality control.
