Windows 10 media creation - question

I installed this build and get 2 issues:

*1.When i go to windows settings, no matter what i click on system settings it wont opened. SO click and nothing.

*2.Problem with web browsers ( Firefox and Chrome ). When i go to some site, and try to download something ( right click save ), browser just hang, and not respond. I had to click X on the browser.

So i think is very old build?!

So why i get that issues? Just after some automatically updates Windows 10 function normally.

It could depend on a number of variables. For example, is your build new? If so, did you update the BIOS before trying to install the OS and did you install the latest chipset drivers? You could also run SFC and see if that fixes any corrupt files.

So many variable.

  • Virus or malware that is coming from something you installed
  • Not a clean install, and something broke during the upgrade
  • Security software you installed breaking Windows (nothing new. Ensure you have the latest version, or use something else)
  • Software you installed that break other software (this includes driver software. I suggest to just install drivers where possible. Not even GeForce Experience, just the drivers for anything you have. For example, you don't need those Windows replacement wireless connection panels.. what's the point? They are pain to use.. and does nothing more over Windows one)
  • Web browser extension (some malware extensions are on Google own extension website, and once installed, they can't be truly removed... and now they sync with your Google account... and well, you get the picture).
  • SSD/HDD issue
  • SATA controller issue
  • SSD/HDD SATA cable issue
  • Device not responding that Windows needs to ping.
  • Network folder or drive not responding or very very very very slowly that it looks like things locks up) that has been added
