Green point on My screen.

Hi.I recently bought an Asus monitor,and i see a green point on my screen.I think it is a dead pixel, but I want your opinion and your solutions.It is not very annoying,but i don't want it.  ?

It could be your monitor or it could be your of your components like RAM dying, your temps being to high, or clock speeds set to high. If that's the case, your problem is called "artifacting".

I had an issue like this for months, then I used a new HDMI cable, and it was gone.
If it actually is just one pixel, then on an average 1080p monitor(24") then you shouldn't even see it.

It's most likely a stuck pixel (stuck pixels are pixels that don't change color, dead pixels don't turn on at all and are black), you can either live with it or try to RMA it. 

 

I have one on one of my two monitors, you don't even notice it after a while. 

It may disappear after long shutdowns, massages etc. but it comes back at some point.

You definitely see it depending on the background of the screen... High contrasting colours make it more noticeable.

I've had a red pixel on one of my monitors before, I just pushed the area gently and it was gone.
