I am going to get the MSI R9 270 and I play battlefield tf2 mainly.I want the graphics to be set to very high and smooth 35 fps at least.Should I get one or just get a cheaper card.

No, I would say it not waste to get that GPU. You can play other games like BF4 at High and still play at a good FPS.

Or if you can get an open box 7950 / 760, go for that. I bought an Asus 760 for $200 on newegg.

The 270 is a good card. You should be fine with that.

I thought of getting 7870 and 7850.Anyway is there a lot of difference between these two?
