1st BUILD, Software help

Hello Everyone

 

I build my first PC, I got encurached by linus and all his videos. 

 

The parts

 

4670k

Asus Maximus VI Gene

MSI GTX 760

2 x 4GB of Corsair Vengance Pro 1866mhz

EVGA SuperNova 750W

120GB Samsung 840 evo

1TB WD Blue

Cooler Master 212+

Lite On DVD Burner

All inside a Corsair 350D

 

I also got 

Termaltake sSport KNUCKER Plunger Keyboard

Logitech G500 (allready had)

Acer G236HL 23in Monmitor

Bose Companion II Speackers (allready had)

 

 

I cheaped out with some parts so I can upgrade in the future.

 

The build is done I am just wondering what programs should I install on it, I am looking for suggestions

I will like to check temperatures

Fan speeds and so on.

 

I will also like to do some overclocking I will let you guys know how that goes.

 

Question how do I make sure my RAM is running propertly, because when I check on the BIOS it says that it running at 1333mhz, how do I make it go 1866mhz

Hardware monitor, Speccy, GPUZ, Msi afterburner OR Evga precision,CPUZ, Prime95 and either kombustor or furmark for gpu OC stability test (Valley/heaven benchmark tool works as well for this)

Nice.

 

To run the memory at its rated speed, in the BIOS Advanced Mode set AI Overclock Tuner to X.M.P.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Next questions

 

Where can I get a dust filter for the top of the 350D?

and what wierless card should I use for the Asus Maximus VI Gene slot?

Filter http://www.demcifilter.com/p0425/Corsair-Obsidian-350D-Top-Dust-Filter.aspx I would just buy some mesh and just put it between the rad and top
