Which memory stick to get? 3000/3200/3466/3600

Hi, i have a friend that is travelling to the US right now and since its much cheaper compared to where i live, im looking for the best 16GB KIT (2x8) out there.
I'm gonna pair it with a 8700k or a future 9700k.

Which one should i choose?
3000MHz CL15
3200MHz CL16
3466MHz CL16
3600MHz CL18

I'm also open to suggestions, thanks.

Usually the norm is 3200, but if the CL is the same and price not too different, 3466 looks good.

Yeah, i don't care about price to be honest, they all range between 200-250$, so im looking for the best stick that 250$ can buy.

Depends on what you plan on doing. For gaming you wan't lower total lag. (CAS times speed)

Use this if you want a simplified version.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

There was a techquickie about this. I used that to shop for ram, their formula was:
2000 x (CAS / Frequency) = Latency in nanoseconds.
Using this I concluded that these are the middle ground: 2800/14, 3000/15, 3200/16, and so on
So I'd get the 3466/16 out of your bunch, and OC it a bit further if possible.

If you can try looking for 3200 CL 14 or 3600 CL 16, normally its only about 10-20 bucks more.

Linus is my fetish.
