help Open Backed Headphones Help

Hey there, my Beyerdyanmic dt 990 pro just arrived and it's open backed.. which is rather annoying but closed backed is also annoying because you can barely hear background sound. What volume shall I mainly stick with so nobody else can hear what I'm hearing?

It all depends on how loud your PC makes them.

In what kind of environment are you wearing them? I have the same headphones, but I only wear them in my room (where my PC is, of course).

 

As mentioned above, lay them down on your desk and listen how loud they are from different distances. That, or ask someone to wear them while you walk around them and listen how much sound is bleeding out
