So guys, before anything, I was able to install everything in my new PC and make it work for a few days. I then go away for a couple of weeks and I get a lot of blue screens.

I try to reinstall the OS with two different installation flash drives and I get those other errors.

I end up replacing the Mobo, ram, SSD, HDD, even when trying without the GPU and I am still getting that 0xc0000001 error. I am running out of ideas of what it could be. Any help guys?59CEAC65-929D-4B11-AE07-E0A6E668C8DB.thumb.jpeg.694d7199af9782aeb256684ff39122ea.jpeg1E144B73-9E4E-45AE-A142-0EF799A98F8C.thumb.jpeg.7ed46057436ede18023d1c0d9f49caca.jpegB895C85B-5919-43EB-B04F-42D9F34E4609.thumb.jpeg.9db0be710d0532df1ea4449c61ebf8fb.jpeg45AB36F4-A88C-4507-888B-EFFFE17EEF48.thumb.jpeg.66ee88065785f4f034437a8e1faa1a4e.jpegF67A52B4-1E94-4583-A116-3BBD705321F4.thumb.jpeg.627465faa784e973c553d6f5b506f17e.jpeg54903115-DA46-4147-AFAE-207DF0A8A323.thumb.jpeg.b419de291c3b8bcd248dff7a4d4818f4.jpeg

I'm so angry right now. Turns out I just tried creating a brand new (third) installation drive and everything worked perfectly.

In any case, thanks for the help.

Glad to hear that you got it fixed finally. Did you do anything different this time?

Okay, after some quick reading, it seems it's a file system corruption or a damaged ram stick.

Since you already tested the ram,

I have to ask:

Did you actually format the drive and reinstall windows from scratch using installation media like a USB stick or CD?

If you just used windows built in recovery stuff then whatever is causing this problem is still there.

.So, copy down your product key for windows just in case,

.Go to the microsoft website and grab the media creation tool

     -WINDOWS 10 VERSION: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

.Put a flash drive in your system and use the tool to create a windows install.

.Restart you computer with the USB drive inserted.

.Format the system drive completely including the recovery drive. Everything until you only

 have unallocated free space.

.Highlight the system drive and click the button to continue the windows install.

I think that'll fix it if you haven't done it that way already.

I wish you didn't spend all of that money on that other hardware though.

Always rule out every software related issue before buying new hardware in the future.

Might as well use those extra parts now though.

I recommend taking some inspiration from scrapyard wars and making a finished PC out of what you have left over and can find used, then sell it or give it to a friend or family member.

Anyways,

I hope you haven't tried it this way already.

Good luck!

Causes of this Error

This error has been known to occur as a result of one or more of the following:

Cause 1: SAM file is damaged

The SAM(Security Accounts Manager) file stores the user credentials data and is essential to Windows booting process. If that file is missing or corrupt, then the boot process is halted.

Cause 2: System files are damaged

Sometimes, this error may occur when the key boot-related system files become damaged because of disk write error, power outages or virus attacks.

Cause 3: File system integrity compromised

Alternatively, this error appears when the whole file system gets damaged on a grander scale for the same reasons.

Cause 4: RAM is damaged

In the worst case scenario, the PC’s memory could be permanently damaged.

I did go to create another installation drive. I had just assumed that because two different ones hadn't worked, and one had worked the first time around, that it wasn't that.

Oh, sorry about that. I totally missed where you said you tried a new SSD and HDD.

The only way I could see those still being a problem is if you didn't actually completely delete all of the partitions before reinstalling windows, but it doesn't sound like that's it.

Maybe the thumb drive you're using is no good. Maybe the files are corrupted on there instead of on your drive.

Try another one. Get a fresh one actually.

It doesn't have to be a super expensive one. Just a cheap USB 2.0 one that has enough space on it for the windows install will do.

I mean I got it to work last night. I used the same USB that I had used as installation drive and redid the whole process with the windows media creation tool. I just don't know why they didn't work before. At least I have a computer again...
