Hitman 2016 plot explanation?

I've been playing this game for like 12 hours. Had a blast.

However I cannot fully comprehend the plot of the game...

So there is a russian dude that is the bad guy??? And sometimes the CIA is involved too???

I don't care about spoiler... is there any youtube video that explains the plot of the game thoroughly not just a plain walk through?

thank you! also I keep seeing "season 1" in the page does that mean season 2 is just around the corner? (maybe this year?)

The studio that made the game, IO Interactive, (and all the 'good' Hitman games) reclaimed the rights from the publisher, Square Enix, last year (their names escape me at the moment). Now they are able to give their own personal spin back to the game and people are excited about it.

Season 2 is in development, yes.

can't wait for season two! I'm only exploring the paris level and there is so many stuff to do!
