What does this mean?

So I was watching YouTube and suddenly all the power in my room went off and came back 3 seconds later when my pc booted back up i got this message before booting into windows 10

 

power supply surges detected during previous power on.

ASUS anti surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit

 

Is this just because my power went out or something else?

 

everything seems to be working fine but i just want to make sure nothing is wrong

Yah, a power blip can trigger the anti-surge protection. You'll be fine

There is a chance that the PSU caused the power blip in the first place. Not enough info to have a conclusive answer in this, though

True and if just watching youtube on your computer causes a power blip then you might have other bigger issues to deal with
