update?

so i have a laptop and a desktop. my laptop is a hp compaq Presario CQ57 and my desktop is a Dell optiplex 960 sff with both window. my laptop has updated to the lateds windows 10 with the phone and gaming setting on the settings but my desktop does't have that at all. i thougth it was update to date and now i get the Update pending on the suggested apps. should i update my desktops?? and will i lose my activation to windows 10 form the update.

All updates suggested by OS will keep activation. But I would only recommend OS updates and being picky in which app and driver updates you do.
