My desktop went black then as i highlighted it it reappeared i am wonder why this happened.

First - RipNickyV - That's hilarious.

Second, this has happened to me randomly on every version of windows since XP. I've never bothered to look up a reason as it was quick to fix, and only seemed to happen a few times a year or so.

Oddly, I don't think I've seen it on 10 yet.

This was an issue with windows 7 and I mainly noticed it happening when windows went into Low Resource Mode or Teamviewer was doing some weird desktop stripping to save on resources.

Since windows 10 I haven't ran into the issue since those settings are saved on the cloud. Even after doing a full wipe of my PC I will still retain the same desktop image.
