What about the NZXT N7 makes it worth $300? What does it have that a maximus x code doesn't have for the same price? Idk but the aesthetic just isn't worth $200 to me...

Same thing that makes the phanteks enthoo elite 900$. Its just a generic mobo, you are mainly just paying for the aesthetic cover. It doesnt even have usb c header or on the back i/o. I would never buy it personnally

Not really. I would buy it if you rely heavily on the nzxt ecosystem. If you have a hue+ or grid fan controller, you can save yourself a lot of hubs as for the n7 combines it all for you. Considering that the hue+ and grid costs over a 100 USD if purchased separately, the price is somewhat justified.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

While I get that the hue+ and grid are awesome, but even if you figure out the prices and such you're still paying $100 for aesthetics... imagine if asus made a "maximus x sync" (a name I made up) that costed $300, had terrible io, average overclocking, but had extra ROG logos and RGB headers... I just feel that people are letting NZXT get away with a product that isn't that impressive
