my current set up is:

apu a8 7600

amd hd 7730

a68hm-e33 v2 mobo

8gb ram

generic 750w psu

i want to play new games and to play them i think its time for me to upgrade my system also,

I'm planning to buy Zotac gtx 1060 3gb + 550w true rated psu First.

my first question is.. is that 1060 can run with apu 7600 and with that mobo?

however, im upgrading to ryzen in the future,

second question is, Should i get that 1060 or should i get a 1050 ti?

Although bottlenecked by your APU, yes it will run.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

What resolution do you play? What games do you play?

The 1060 3GB gets bottlenecked by it's memory size, so some AAA will get worse performance than they should (or even get beaten by the 1050 Ti). When memory is not a concern however, it will steadily provide better FPS than the 1050 Ti.

They both might get bottlenecked by your CPU.

I would advise you to switch ur CPU to AMD Athlon X4 880K Black Edition or buying a new mobo with cpu first before changing your GPU.

@jerard20 You cpu is the thing that would bottleneck your GPU that you want to get. When you upgrade you CPU in the future that bottleneck will be removed as well.

----------------------------------------------

Off Topic though, Can someone explain to me how the F*** my pc is running some games atm like PUBG, RB6S and newer titles fairly well at Medium - High Settings.

Current Rig:

i3- 4130 (Quad Core)

AMD Radeon R9 series GPU (Don't know specific model)

8GB DDR3 Ram

750w psu

(Storage)

Because I tend to check if I can run a game before I buy it. Yet they will say my rig won't run it on even low settings yet it seems to trump out and run them near mid to High. Please this really confuses me :/

Some people prefer a challenge, I just band my head against a wall until my method works...
