Help please regarding MAC filtering

I tried to set up Mac Filtering on the main router to control the clients connected to the Range Extender, but eventually found that the settings didn’t work normally. So, please tell me how to use MAC filtering on a wifi range extender??

Just give the extender a different SSID if you want to make sure certain devices are on it. And if you want to do it for security purposes, then spoofing a MAC address is stupidly easy.

I read it, but dont fully understand it. But it looks like the instructions to me. Though the easy way would be do what @djdwosk97 said. Just give the extender and different SSID.
