so im getting a new phone and i cant decide so you say whats the best phone ?

I just got a OnePlus 5T but if I had to chose between those two then Pixel 2 unless you want to use a pen to take notes.

i have a note 8 and while it is an excellent phone, i think the pixel is a better phone depending on what you value.

Note 8

  • better looks
  • very nice screen
  • pen is useful if you use it
  • headphone jack if you use it
  • but edge can be annoying because it introduces a lot of glare and mine has very noticeable color shift.
  • case is necessary if you want to it

the pixel looks a lot more pragmatic and is easier to use and of course the camera. screen seems to be the biggest downside that I would give up for the two benefits

whats the best

That is a pretty generalized question. Its like saying is a Hummer H1 good compared to a Ford Focus. Well one is great for offroading and winter driving but heavy on fuel consumption, while the other is excellent fuel saver, but horrible with any snowfall, ice, obstacles, offroading, mud.

It all depends on your needs which you did not state.

I would personally go for the pixel, because it has the stock android, better camera and larger battery. I have had 2 samsung phones, both became laggy and unusable after a few years and my friend had to do a factory reset on his S7 edge. I dont trust Samsung with phones anymore. However, the Note 8 has an amazing display, more ram, SD card slot, more software features (and bloatware), the stylus and...a headphone jack. It is also bigger and slightly heavier with curved display
