my first build

Same Drenth

Hi,

This my first time building a pc and I am on a budget of 900 euro's but I am still missing ram (I'd like 16GB).

So could anyone suggest cheaper parts or/and suggest ram? And maybe tell me if this combination is even possible?

i would suggest not taking that cpu and motherboard, first of all it is not the latest generation which has better price to performance, secondly the cpu isn't overcklockable but the motherboard is which means that you are most likely wasting money.

this specific cpu also comes with a cooler so if you are really looking to save money you dont need thermal paste and a cooler.

do you really need the optical drive or can you do without it? most modern games are no longer on discs.

Also: welcome to the forum!

only k and x sku intel CPUs are overclockable and the stock cooler is sufficient for any non-overclockable cpu, so don't waste your money there
