Here's a benchmark before and after the resent software update and there's been no updates for my phone for 2 months, so i thinks the slowdown could be because of software fixes regarding meltdown. (The 1689 single-core is before and the 1250 single-core is after) My phone was in the charger both of the benchmark, to make sure that battery power wasn't a viable. Btw. sorry if I'm using the forum wrong, it's the first time i used it. ?

Did you have a lot of other stuff opened at the same time as the benchmarks?  I see quite a few apps asking for your attention in the top left.
Might be a good idea to close as many things as possible before doing a benchmark, especially on a phone.
