I have tried loads and i cant find anything if i do anything on my computer then it goes through my mic if the audio is on my headset, I have a Razer Megladon through a USB port (obviously). I am using a As-Rock 990fx Fatl1ty, i have tried using other headsets and the problem persists, i have tried other USB headsets and ones using the audio jacks. if i listen to music or anything even if it is quiet they can still hear it load and clear. It would be Much appreciated if someone could tell me how to fix this annoying issue.

OK, for your microphone properties like you posted above, click the levels tab and turn down the microphone about 75% of the way. Does it still persist, only not as loud? Or is it the same?

Try out those headsets on other systems and see if the problem persist. Else, reinstall the drivers.
The headsets are fine on other computers in my house.

i'm having the same problem too but I'm on Ubuntu. On my Window 8 I don't have that issue so I think it is a driver issue, probably not hardware.
Mine is not drivers i have updated them about 4 times over and still, not firmware either tried that a few times as well.

I was thinking of just getting a stand alone mic i was just neglecting it as i just spent a large amount of money on this headset (It's expensive for me as i am 15). I am stealing my brothers Blue Yeti until i can figure this out or get my own mic.

And of course, if you disable or turn off your microphone, the echo stops?

>You might wish to tune down your Razer Megalodon’s microphone sensitivity which is picking up background/ambient noise due to its extreme sensitivity. The gaming grade engineered, noise filtering microphone is amplified in its natural state and this may cause the sounds as described above. You can do this by selecting the “mic sens†button on your Megalodon control pod and adjusting the level accordingly.

Did you ever try this?

also seems there is a power issue with this headset on some motherboards.

I don't usually say bad things about products I've never used, but this headset sounds like a you-know-what...
