Need help booting

Parts:

Cpu: Intel i7-6700k

Ram: Corsair vengeance 3000 

Mobo: Gigabyte z270mx Gaming 5

Gpu: Evga ftw3 1080 ti

 

So I went ahead and downloaded the Intel Management Engine critical update utility off of the Gigabyte site. Ran it, and now I can't even hit post. I've tried removing everything but cpu and ram, tried clearing cmos, and even tried a backup i5-6600 and spare crucial ballistix ram, but still the same result. I am currently bootlooped before hitting post. Each attempted boot alternates between the DRAM and the VGA error lights turning on in the mobo. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Really don't want to RMA this board.

Well the BIOS is probably rekt, if Gigabyte has a flashing utility that you can run externally like ASUS then you can flash a new BIOS on it that way. Otherwise you will have to RMA

Hi,
try to disable Intel bios guard technology from BIOS setup , Save & Exit and re-enter in BIOS setup ,
then try flash the new BIOS with Qflash.

I have no way to enter BIOS. Is it possible to flash the BIOS without actually making it into BIOS first?

Asus has a REscue Bios Proramm in their Support DVD which comes with MB. I don't know if Gigabyte has smt like that or not

USE the DVI Port annd PS2 keyboard. Or use the Intel GPU port....

No output for PS2. I've tried both the HDMI and display port coming off the Intel integrated gpu and still no luck

leave only one RAM and disconnect everything else (SDD,GPU,xtra RAM). Then power on

Didn't work. I tried it with different sticks of ram, each in a different slot

Did you try to leave only one RAM and disconnect everything else (SDD,GPU,xtra RAM) too??

Yea. Had only the mobo, cpu, and 1 ram stick.

Method #1:
1. Shut your PC down (if you're reading this guide, than your PC isn't working anyways) 
2. Hold the power button until the PC starts and shuts down again
3. Press the power button again, your backup BIOS should kick in now and should re-flash the main BIOS if there's anything wrong with it.

Method #2:
1. Shut your PC down
2. Hold the power AND the reset button for about 10 sec, than release.
3. Backup BIOS should kick in anytime soon now.
Can you try these methods above?

Neither work sadly. I tried that last night and just tried it again now.
