Go to solution Solved by A.E.G.I.S,

:I will try this tomorrow hopefully it will fix it.

Update Nr.1: 1:01:10:10 Uptime and still counting without restart. at about 4 days i will call this fixed

Update Nr.2: about 02:04:30:45 Uptime and it restarted with one Ram stick gotta try the other one now...

Final Update : 09:02:16:14 Uptime that will do just fine. I dont know if this is just luck but i will stick to this.

Hey,

my Pre build PC which i regret right now... reboots randomly on its own (in Idle and under load) sometimes early in the morning, sometimes in the noon, late in the evening or it wont automatically reboot for some time

(my record 1 day 5 hours without reboot)

Things that i checked are:

  • if any Virus' or other malicious things are present on the System
  • various Settings about planned restarts
  • new BIOS after i corrupted my other Motherboard, because of a misread "BIOS" update by a Windows 7 Installation disc... Thanks Microsoft...
  • CPU Cooler (the only fan present beside PSU)
  • Hard drives
  • Motherboard
  • PSU
  • Processor
  • RAM

I also get confused if the CPU fan should blow toward the CPU or draw away the air (currently away from the CPU)

It seems like drawing away from the CPU is better but i could be wrong on that.

If anyone need the last events before the shutdown from Eventviewer here you go:

Current Temps

  • Chipset 46°C (114.8°F)
  • CPU Cores 20-25°C (68-77°F)
  • GPU 16-18°C (60.8-64.4°F)
  • HDD with OS 34°C (93.2°F)
  • HDD for Games 'n' stuff 31°C (87.8°F)

If you need any more Logs or other stuff  just ask. I'm as excited to fix this problem as you might be.

Have you checked your GPU? Have you tried running on integrated graphics? *if that is an option.

Can you try using a different PSU?  I had a similar issue awhile ago and changing PSUs solved my problem.
