VR is more GPU-intensive than it is CPU, but you'll need at least a 1060 for great VR. If you can shell out for the 1070, go for it.

Edit: The Rift has the Oculus store, Steam, and possibly itch.io for sources.

Rift users have recommended buying an extra lighthouse for room-scale, but I can't verify this. @Sakkura, please confirm or deny this.

I read it, yeah I would need one but I will just deal with 2 because I don't wanna pay 100 or more for one(amazon.de price). Also, do you know how many hdmi and usb wires i need?

I don't have a Rift yet, but if it's anything like the Vive you're going to need 1 USB port and an available HDMI port.

Found the Rift specs.

I've read a bit about the rift and it says that you need a bunch of usb ports and I think 2 hmdi ports for each sensor

Extra sensor is very helpful for roomscale but not technically required.

1 HDMI, 1 USB for the headset plus 1 USB per sensor (so 3 or 4 USB depending on whether you use 2 or 3 sensors). You'll want at least one of the sensors on USB 3.0, as well as the headset.

Extra sensor costs 69€ direct from Oculus. Ships with a USB 2.0 extension.

Do I need cable extenders?
