A friend of mine is having issues with his new PC build. Lights and fans start up but there is no boot. Checked it myself just to make sure he wasn't making a mistake, however, couldn't find the issue.

- We tested using a PSU that we know works. Same issue.

- Reseated the RAM.

- Booted with only the CPU and PSU. No post. Nor did the motherboard beep.

- Made sure the video cable was in the correct GPU.

- GPU works in separate system.

The RAM he is using is - https://www.amazon.co.uk/G-SKILL-F4-2400C15D-16GTZR-Trident-PC4-19200-Channel/dp/B01MU9NESL/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0

The CPU is an i7-7700K.

Checked all front panel connectors twice. All the buttons work without issue. Starting to run out of ideas. Any help is appreciated. If I've missed any important information, just let me know, I'm trying to remember it all myself lol.

Noticed there are light indicators on the MB. One for VGA, DRAM, BOOT, CPU, and PWR. The PWR is supposed to remain on. The manual says if any other lights remain on, there is an issue with that section. The DRAM light stays on, indicating there is a problem. Hopefully this helps somewhat!
