New Phone under 400$

I'm going to get a new phone

Between this two options which one is better

I have 3 requirements

Looks, performance and cameras

The LG G6 is a 99% like new but very reliable

The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is brand new

I'm not a fan of LG, and the A8 looks like a cool phone. It's similar to an s8 but with the fingerprint scanner in a better place

Sorry I was busy

The LG G6 has a 2K screen

It's also a flag ship device so its absolutely better

Also the processor in the LG G6 is wayyy better

Then go for the G6, you asked for advice he gave it, but ultimately you make the decision.

What model of the A8 are you looking at? They've had them for a few years now.

I'd probably go with the Samsung.

Just because something is released as a flagship, does not make it better. The G6 had some camera issues, and it's using a now 2 generation old SoC. Something using an SD670 would be better.

Personally I'm leaning towards the LG G6 but the A8 2018 is newer so I'm still wandering

And he didn't give any reason why
