Inexpensive ID Card printer

Our motorcycle club is in need of an inexpensive ID card printer for it's membership. We don't need any security encoding, such as a Mag-stripe, RFID, IC-Chip, just full color and plastic.

 

I found an IDP Smart 30S for about $550 on B&H, but i wonder if there is something else? Badgy 100 was there, not much available for reviews.
