Pc won't post

Specs:

asus m5a97 r2.0 

amd fx-8320

gigabyte auros extreme gtx 1060 6gb

corsair cx500 

8gb vengeance ram

 

Basically I bought my new 1060 installed it and everything was working fine the first day no problems at all, the problems came today when I went to play a game of PUBG and once the game loaded my pc randomly restarted with no warning or blue screen, thinking it was just random I tried PUBG again and the same thing happened so this time I turned my pc off and left it as it didn't really know what was going on.

 

Now a few hours later my pc won't even post. All my fans and GPU led's are on so I can tell my pc has life but it has no display and doesn't make it to bios just a blank screen.

 

any help would be greatly appreciate as I am very basic when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Do you still have whatever GPU you were using before? If so, try using that and see if you get an image. If you do, your new GPU might be faulty.
