Looking for a subwoofer

I just tried splitting the audio through my old subwoofer and headphones simultaneously and I really like the effect, but the subwoofer can't handle the amplification from my onboard sound card. 

My space budget won't allow for a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker setup, so I use headphones for the surround sound experience. I wanted to couple them with a subwoofer so I can 'feel' the lower frequencies more.

 

Any recommendations for under £150?

pick up a used subwoofer from local classifieds

nothing wrong with quality sub used... cant say which one to get, just google whatever looks good in your budget and decide if its worth based on the condition and online information about it
