But instead of the MSI go with the reference, the blower is much quieter and aftermarket waterblocks are rare and hard to find.

I would disagree with that. The blower would be actually louder than a custom aftermarket heatsink/Fans. But I do agree that aftermarket custom PCB waterblocks would be harder to find.

On the default fan curve the fan on the blower does not really get very loud unless you are overclocking. But if you tone down the curve of the MSI I imagine it would be just as quiet. Well there there you go now you got me arguing with myself :P

clearly you've never heard a 290x. those suckers are loud. they sound like someone duct taped a vacuum to each ear.

Have you seen any videos by Singularity Computers? He's located in Australia as well. He does sell custom made PC's water-cooled or not.

I meant the Nvidia awesome metal thing. Not blowers in general, especially not that abomination AMD calls a cooler :P
