You might want to change that motherboard. The 7700k won't work on it. Get a z270 board or an 8th gen i7 8700k which will be much better. But the rest of the build should be ok for 1440p gaming at high or 4k at medium settings.

Used to be everywhere in LTT forums, had a break which lasted apparently 1 year LOL. 

Gonna get up againnnn.

I would suggest getting something with 1440p, 144hz, and G-Sync. But then again, if you're going to spring for such an expensive monitor, maybe you should just get a better graphics card first :P if you have such a high budget, (which you seemingly do because of your CPU and motherboard selection) it might be best just get a better GPU first, before an expensive monitor. Also do you plan on overclocking?
