Hello, I have a small problem that I was wondering if someone could help me with. Recently the rgb headers and lights on my ASUS strix z270E motherboard stopped working (Stopped outputting light). On top of this, I am unable to sync the motherboards lighting with the AURA software, let alone, get the software to register the motherboard. The odd thing is that the graphics card (Strix rgb 1070) is still synchronized with the AURA software and outputting light properly. I have tried different versions of the AURA software and have changed rgb lighting settings in the bios, but still have had no luck. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I would appreciate any help you can give me...

Apparently this is a big thing with strix boards.  2 things I came across while looking this up.  One is to power the system down unplugging all the power right down to nothing going in.  Wait it out to make sure it goes completely powered down.  Hold the power button for 30 seconds.  This will discharge all extra stored electricity.  Power it on and it may work.  It did for some.  Option B, Go to the Asus website and look up your board. Go to Support at the top/Drivers and Utilities/ and the one you are looking for is 1.05.25 aura software.  If you haven't updated your bios you should do that.

Uninstall aura from control panel.  power down the system.  Do what we mentioned in method A.  Power down unhook all power and hold the power button for 30 seconds.  Restart your system and install that version of aura.  Hopefully that fixes the problem.!!!

Still not having any luck. I tried the power cycling method that you mentioned but it failed to yield any results. On top of this, I am having problems opening the AURA software. I am given an error message each time I attempt to use the program. Any other suggestions?
