Should I Still Use My PC?

The front panel power and reset pins on my motherboard don't work anymore because I accidentally shorted the wrong pins but I can still use my PC by using the on board power button. I can even still game. Could I end up damaging other components if I continue using my PC this way for the meantime before I get the motherboard repaired or replaced?

i doubt it will hurt it, as long as no pins or connections are still touching then it will be ok till you replace it

I sure hope so.

most times if it was broke it wouldnt work at all and if it was still shorting out it would not stay on at all.. you should be ok

it should be just fine, just make sure you dont short out anything else by accidentally touching the wrong parts

Microsoft in there infinite wisdom have decided to impose a VRAM cap for games the that use DX9 o.O. May God Bless them those whoever came up with that idea.

You're looking for something that does not, has not, will not, might not or must not exist ... ... but you're always welcome to search for it.
