i cant wait that long gonna go tommorow to canada computers to buy a new one

take a photo on your phone of what they have, post it here, then go play in the printer aisle, by then we will have posted in that thread about why so-and-so PSU sucks and your only option is the one on the bottom right.

do you know what they have in stock?

You should be certain that your psu is dead before getting a new one. If it is dead, it would also be useful to know if the unit was DOA or if something in the installation caused the problem - because if it did, you might just end up killing another psu.

This one Cooler Master RS600-ACAAB1-US is barely decent. The Seasonic SS-600ET, not in ca.pcpartpicker.com but available at CC is a decent but not great unit. If it's in your budget SeaSonic SSR-650RM would be a very good choice.

What? There's no warranty/1 to 1 exchange for Black Friday sale?

on closer inspection its probably my motherboard. if that doesnt work ill try.

i cant at the store ill have to do it through corsair and pay shipping etc where a new PSU would end up being better. easier too

With everything hooked up, the psu plugged in and power enabled, when you press the power-on button does any fan spin even for a fraction of a second?

Hold up. You should make sure your psu is actually defective first.

What have you done so far? Did you forget to plug in the 4pin for the cpu?

Excellent on the components, downer on the weather. Still, now that the system is working you have something to do indoors.

I doubt it. Did you forget to turn on the switch at the back of the psu?
