I am doing a rebuild of my old system, I am replacing mostly everything except the AIO (Corsair H110i v2) and the pump is not running and also giving me the CPU fan error at start up. My specs will be listed below, any help is appreciated! 

 

IMPORTANT NOTE- 

The AIO was working fine w/ my old build, so like a couple of days ago 

 

CPU: Intel i7 8700k

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix z370-e gaming 

RAM: Corsair Vengance RGB 16gb (2x8gb) 

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 FE 

Power Supply: Corsair CX750W

SSD: PNY 120gb 

HDD: WD Blue 1tb

you sure it's plugged into the CPU fan header? The cold plate / pump assembly i mean... otherwise use the AIO header and disable monitoring on the CPU header in BIOS.

Make sure your have the CPU header's fan curve setup so you always from it full 12V power as the pump is directly powered off of that. If you set a fan curve where the voltage is too low you run into the issue of stalling the pump and it not being able to run.

I have the fans connected to the pump and the pump connected to the AIO header w/ CPU header monitoring disabled and I still get nothing. Here are some pics below showing my bios and where I have it plugged into
